Psalm 68:5 says God is “a father to the fatherless” and He so “in His holy habitation.” Every one of you were strangers and exiles, without hope and without God in the world. But God found you. Washed you. Brought you into His family. For “God sets the solitary in families: He brings out those which are bound with chains” (Psalm 68:6). This is daring generosity and wild grace. And to all of it, in baptism Christ our older brother says, “Amen.”
