Rome teaches the Immaculate Conception where they claim Mary never contracted original sin from Adam. But, while Mary is the most blessed among women, the advent of Christ was actually a muculent conception. Jesus came from a virgin womb, yes. But He also came from a tainted womb. Out of darkness, light. Out of nothing, something. Out of the muck and mire of the fallen human race, righteousness.
You are going to look around this advent and Christmas season and you will discover that everything is not just right. Family members won’t make the party. The budget won’t balance. The attitudes might not be as jolly as old saint Nick. The good health wished upon you in song might not be materializing.
Very good. You are in perfect position for a muculent conception. Watch what God will bring out of whatever messes are in front of you. “But God uses means,” you object. “Yes, but He doesn’t use pre-qualified untainted means.” Read the story you are in. Your Father puts Kings in little girls, Kingdoms in little towns, the eternal in the temporal, joy into the sorrowful. So look to your Father and say with the most blessed, “Be it unto me according to your Word.”
