Anyone one who has baked a loaf of bread knows that the process is not an exact science. There are some general guidelines. But it is mostly something you have to do, something to get a feel for. You work leaven into the loaf and watch it rise however the Lord shapes it.
As you come to eat this bread, remember you are His bread. You are meant to feed the world. Now the temptation will be for you to tell the Lord what kind of loaf you must be. But He works the dough however He pleases. Paul was faithful bread. He sought to feed Felix and the Lord left him in the Cesarean oven for two years before sending him to feed others in Rome.
If you are really going to feed others, you can’t be too particular about the shape of your own loaf. You have to say with the bread from heaven, “Not my will but yours be done.” God will bring the growth and He will bring it however He pleases. All you have to do is to come to the bread of God, willing to be bread in His hands. So come in faith, and welcome to Jesus Christ.
