In this season, all signs point to Bethlehem. And so it is with this sign. Baptism is a word of God, a gift that reminds us that beginning, middle, and end, we trust in the Virgin’s Son who has come to deliver us from our sin. God’s promise is unfailing. His oath of salvation to us and our children is yes and amen in Christ. Seeing He has spoken definitively. What is there for us to do but say, “Amen.”
